This book grew from my performance of "Diary of a Forest Ranger" recorded before a live audience on Earth Day 2016.  The televised broadcast won an Alaska Broadcasters Association "Goldie" in 2018. The soundtrack, released as a CD, earned "Honors" from Storytelling World.  I've added stories I left out of the one-hour broadcast and added stories from my childhood that foretold of my career in the woods.
